Brenna Waugh (b. 1995) is a Canadian photographer and painter.

Born in British Columbia, Waugh’s work is rooted in the wild landscapes of Canada’s west coast and shaped by years of travel—each new place offering a different version of home through its textures, colors, and light. Her practice draws connections between the natural ebb and flow of the environment and the emotional rhythms of relationships, love, and belonging.

As a photographer, Waugh has spent years attuned to fleeting expressions of intimacy and the ephemeral qualities of light that define a moment. This sensitivity has deeply informed her abstraction practice—cultivating a nuanced approach to composition, emotional resonance, and visual storytelling through layered composition and color. Her experience capturing love in real time translates into painted and photographic works that are equally empathetic and atmospheric, distilling memory into texture, gesture, and tone.

Brenna currently lives and works in London, UK.
