Newcastle Island Marine Provincial Park Wedding, Nanaimo, BC - Ellyn + George

2018 was a year of Vancouver Island weddings for me - I travelled 4 times from Vancouver on the ferries over to various islands and Vancouver Island. It was so fun to explore different areas of BC that I’d never been to before, and to get to capture so many happy memories and weddings near the water. Ellyn + George’s wedding in September on Newcastle Island was especially beautiful! It’s the provincial park a short boat ride away from Nanaimo and the perfect place to get married for Ellyn + George who love to explore wild places together. It ended up being a little bit drizzly all day but it definitely only added to the wonderful west coast vibe of their venue and wedding day! I loved their pops of colour in the bouquets and the awesome live band who kept the dance floor moving all night!
